Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

"Heh, Sgt. Steele... Sounds like a show" Kristina whispered to herself as she got up from the desk, cracking her knuckles and walking over to the locker that contained her patrol gear. strapping on a vest, shoulder holsters, her belt, and drop rig before she pulled on her trench coat. Before buzzing back on the Cortex

"Roger that Marta, Admin say anything else?"

-Kristina Steele

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?" -Harry Callahan

=That's all she specifically said, I just know whatever is coming in is getting the Emergency Protocol One treatment. Be safe out there.=

Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

"Roger that, safety will be. The 2nd thing on my mind. The first will be how much I should be getting payed for this" Kristina said she regretted her lack of being a mercenary. Grabbing a shotgun from the locker before she shut and locked it.

"Khan, I'm going out to see about a ship. You have command"

-Sgt. Steele

Khan, stuck on desk duty for 90 days after the riot, nodded acknowledgement of the order. "Ma'am yes ma'am!"

Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

Kristina, feeling completely deflated aside from her cup of steaming hot coffee and sandwich punched in her entry codes and walked into the office. Sighing and taking in a breath as she wished she could smoke.

"Where is Sergeant Knoxx. She's supposed to be the duty"

Sgt. Dara Knoxx was passed out behind her desk, leaning back in her chair, snoring loudly. Not hearing Kristina come in or ask for her.

She had no idea what she was in store for.

Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

Kristina went into her office briefly to set down her coffee, food and shotgun before rounding the corner and finding Dara asleep. This of course irritated her to no end, mostly because she herself wasn't sleeping and there was much work to be done with this discovery of the Ark and all that.

"Sgt. Knoxx!" She shouted "If you would join us in the realm of the conscious please!"

Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

Dara was having a pleasant dream, something along the lines of being posted to a celebrity detail and meeting her musical idols, autographs, nice days, not being on a space station, good food. Hazard pay for angry crowds and not armed rioters, but this was all ended by the shouting of the thick Scottish brogue she knew so well... Her boss.

Taking a moment to open her eyes, stand up and salute. Dara paused and looked around the room

"Ma'am, yes... Ma'am. You look beat Kris, how was the trip?"

-Dara

Kristina sighed and regained her composure. "My trip sergeant, resulted in a situation requiring the efforts of a whole lot of us security personnel to keep something contained and guarded. However we don't have orders up to this point..." She paused for a moment and then entered the main room once again, bringing back her NCO belt as she addressed the room.

"May I have your attention please. We've encountered a new situation, and it's about to be a royal pain in our asses"

She also discreetly wondered if she'd gotten that promotion.

-Kris

OOC: I suppose we wait for Kevin now?

Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

The main room was a flurry of activity, the announcement that the port was closed and the follow up evacuation order for non essential personell had caused a panic among the residents and visitors on the station. Near riot conditions were forming up by the shops on deck two. Additionally, two private guards at the casino got into a shooting altercation with the crew of a small Beaumontiaan friegther, trying to grab some extra chips on their way out the door. Things were getting tense.

Security was ordered to maintain order and calm during the crisis, and not cause a verse wide incident like the last time they put on riot gear.

Re: Maczarek Security - Deck Six

Dara, who had arrived after the nonsense with the CEO had little to no idea what was going on with the "incident" and hated wearing riot gear. So rather cockily she offered to do some investigation.

"Bosslady, I'll take the investigation of the shooting. Wouldn't mind getting some danger on."

Kristina nodded to the sergeant. "Yeah, go on ahead. Don't die though, we've had enough problems since I took over this station. As for me, I'll supervise the riot boys. Make sure we don't beat any kids in the public eye"

-Kris

Dara nodded and looked to the troop.

"Roger gunny. Also your mail came, its on your desk"

And with that she went to her desk, grabbed her service weapon and her jacket and went on her way
