Topic: IMS Dusty Bin

The ship that Louisa Denver had obtained for this operation was a dark blue and green armed freighter going by the name of Dusty Bin. As the various mercenaries for this operation arrived, they could see that it wasn't in the world's greatest state.

From the viewing windows outside the docking bay, they could see that a number of the hull panels were missing and exposing an array of wiring... while one of the engines had a large dent in it.

It was driveable... in a stock car race.

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

Ashleyn had all of her gear with her in its assorted boxes and a supply engineer f takeout food with her as she sat in front of the ugly beast.

Her thoughts were generally comprised of doubt and other poor emotions as she looked at the ship. But she did her best hungry bear impression as she ate french fries from a takeout box.

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

There really was no explanation as to why Ashleyn had reached the docks before her, well, that was not very true; she had gotten a little sidetracked while leaving and it had taken her longer than intended. She was however still a bit intoxicated, and hungry. Mallory tossed her stuff down before flopping on top of it and eyeing the food. "you got anymore of those french fries?"

Mallory

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

Ashleyn glanced up at Mallory with a mouthful of food and got out a second box with the word "mal" scrawled across the top before going back to her food.

Park Ji-Hye and Casey Grant entered the viewing area about the same time, looking as if they were the ying and yang. With Casey in grey Camo fatigues and Nova wearing a bright red pair of shorts and a tank top under a leather jacket.

Both carried their assorted gear in bags and cases with them and both looked at the ship with a level of disdain.

Though it was Casey that spoke

"Nope, not risking my life in that hunk of crap. I'd rather not die on the way to the mission, speaking of. Any of you know what the hell it is we're here to do?"

"We are here to retrieve something," Pavel's cool, icy voice cut into the conversation. He set a large black suitcase down - a knowledgeable viewer might think it carried a rifle, and that viewer would be right. It was in fact, his sniper rifle, really not much use in the close quarters of a ship, but the manager of the cube motel had been eyeing it acquisitively. "From a ship full of war droids, nothing too exciting."

He also carried his Makarov, a Mikara machine pistol, a knife in his boot and...a steel spork.

Sporks had a multitude of uses.

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

"Yeah, so boring. No use for knives and I'm stuck with all my heavy gear" Rang out Diana as she emerged, wearing a suit of medium combat armor that was camoflauged and if one looked closely they would see her name and blood type written on the collar. Dropping her heavy suitcase on the ground she leaned in and kissed Pavel on the forehead as she waited.

But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Re: IMS Dusty Bin

Shortly afterwards, Louisa Denver arrived, having changed into dark green camo gear with body armour on. She wasn't coming on the mission, but she could hardly come along to the dock wearing a sundress.

She arrived at the dock and took a look at the ship.

"Oh, my", she said, "That's got more holes in it than some of my jeans... We're going to have to find another ship. Anyone got one?"

"You," she said taking the offered box, "Are a lifesaver." Her name was even scribbled across the top, which brought a faint smile to her lips. Mallory wasted no time tearing into the box and had a mouthful of french fries when she realized they were no longer alone. She hastily chewed, swallowed, "I don't know..." a wave of a fry at the ship, "the dent in the engine has a certain....appeal. Especially if you're into demolition derby's. Or," her blond head turned towards Ashleyn, "Did it make you mad?"

Mal

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

"Mad? No, Concerned yes." Ashleyn said through a mouthful of food. "I would like to make it to the target with all of my arms and legs attached" She said dryly as she checked her pistol, brass checking it and re-holstering it.

"I think we should take the man's volunteered ship. If I can get all my gear in it"

"What's it like?" Louisa asked, "Give me the details so can I can decide whether it is suitable for this job. If it falls about if someone looks at it funny, it ain't suitable. I'll fish out the pilot as well, because she'll want to check it out before we start this operation".

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

Pavel planted a kiss squarely on Diana's lips. "Mm. Strawberry lip gloss. Good choice," he said. More loudly he added, "Before we go, there is a Ms. von Eisenholz joining us. I would wait, as she is bringing a massive amount of firepower."

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

Deegar strolled up and witnessed the kiss before hearing Pavel's response.

"Strawberry lip gloss?" He said before devolving into laughter. He was packing heat and dressed in a suit of armor befitting an Engineer, heavy plates, NBC protection. It had the whole nine, even a built in exo skeleton for work. He'd gotten himself a combat shotgun and a carbine as well to back up his pistol which was mag clamped to his chestplate.

"Jeezuus. You a strange bird indeed Diana"

"It's an armed Patrol Vessel that's been retrofitted for high danger insertions. So it's good for the job, it's a bit old but it's tough as nails and doesn't have drive problems."

Casey responded to their Combat armored handler as he listened to the two Slavs do their thing. Who the hell were these people?

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

"Only for you" Diana responded as she listened to the exchange between her cousin and the new man. The idea of not dying appealed to her.

Meanwhile, Henrietta Von Eisenholz very slowly towed her grav sled with Ajax laying in a stasis pod, deactivated under orders. She figured he could take on most of the security and was honestly surprised that the all action company black sheep was so Bureaucratic... She even promised to deactivate his weapons.

Mallory gave a playful roll of her eyes; that had not been exactly what she had meant, but she did not quite feel up to repeating it with a better explanation either. "Yeah,  yeah." The blonde sat up a bit straighter, continuing to shove food into her mouth and voicing between bites, "Any idea just what we are doing here?"

"He said he was waiting for a woman to arrive", Louisa said, "As soon as she is here, we can go to this other ship and get going".

OOC: Has Henrietta arrived yet?

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

OOC: Yes

Henrietta pulled in and glanced around the the assembled group.

All of them looked far tougher than her, but she was doing this for the experience, and an undetermined amount of pay.

Pavel looked at Deegar, tallying the pros and cons of killing the man in his head, or at least shooting something important. The cons - needing an explosives expert- outweighed the pros for the moment.

"I believe the weird Russian man said to Retrieve something" Ashleyn said as she continued eating.

"I -" Pavel caught himself before he said he was Polish, not some foul Russian. "-believe Ms. Eisenholtz and her firepower are here," he finished, seeing the woman and her large sled come up.

Re: IMS Dusty Bin

"Yes, she most certainly appears to be", Louisa said, "Shall we get going? I am coming along, but just as an observer. I need to make sure you don't take anything you shouldn't".

"There is no T in Eisenholz" Henrietta said as she approached. Sitting on ton of the Grav Sled with a tired sigh.

Diana looked at the woman with a little bit of contempt before asking

"What's this robot you're bringing girlie? I hope it isn't as non threatening as you"
