Hi folks. I'm gradually working on filling in details for Dominator. I am thinking of sticking to predominantly department heads for the Star Destroyer.

These should include: Captain, XO (ship operations), Commander of Starfighters, General for Ground Assault, First Stormtrooper, Chief of Engineering, Chief of Security/ship defenses/gunnery, Political Officer, Moral Officer/discipline.

That's the initial list off the top of my head. I would encourage folks to make your own sub_officers/NPCs or disposable incidental staff to keep your officers out of harms way.

Of course with a crew of 46,000 there are a few too many NPCS for me to take on as GM or bother to keep track of, so there is a huge amount of latitude to NPCS and your control over them.

The story takes place during the rise of the empire, just prior to A New Hope and of course Rogue One. Roughly the same time period as Rebels. Jedi are almost unheard of, nearly fictional legends of a bygone age. Rebels are getting more organized but have not fully come on the field to meet the Empire in battle. We will encounter them, but there is no massive rebel fleet (maybe). Pirates, smugglers and general scum are our chief opponents. Aliens are very rare on a Star Destroyer outside of the labor pool. If you want to play one we have to work out a logical reason for them to be on the crew.

The basic 3x3 sheet for characters always works well. I'll get a sample up shortly.

I am toying with the idea of department commanders being a sort of sub GM on plots that fall in their domain. As general GM I reserve the right to resolve conflicts that may affect the overall storyline. What do you all think?
