Background:  Peter grew up an only an only child until he was 10 when Jasmine was born.  Before then Peter was the whole world to his parents.  When Jasmine was born his parents started to neglect him in favor of his sister.  He started to hate his parents due to the lack of attention, but it did allow him to get into a bunch of trouble over the next 10 years.   He left home at 16 trying to make it on his own and ran with some nasty fellows. 

When Peter was 20 he heard his parents have been killed, he returned and proceeded to try and fulfill a promise he made years ago to his parents, 'Watch and protect your sister.'  Peter was always trustworthy and felt he needed to protect his younger 10 year old sister.  He took his sister and traveled on ships and other jobs anything he could find.  Some of these jobs were not the sort of things Peter liked Jasmine to be around, smuggling, fighting, bodyguard work, things that Peter wasn't proud of.  Peter has killed a few people in self defense and some of those incidents haunt him every once in a while. While Peter does have some martial arts training mostly it practiced parkour and from there expanded to fighting.  One day he heard from their Aunt Cindy who ran the apparel and beauty shop on Greenleaf Skyplex along with their Uncle.  Uncle Robert died from an illness and left the shop to his two favorite niece and nephew.  In order to try and give his sister some stability he gave up his other jobs and proceeded to try and run the shop.  That was about 6 months ago.

Irina was 7 when the Alliance landed their ship and formally opened relations with the small isolated St Albans community. The Clan Elders would allow some of the young to join the Alliance and learn their ways in exchange for basic tech. Irina watched her mother die in a senseless blood duel when she was accused of witchcraft and cursing a rival family.

Irina and the team tracked down the deserters to Ezra. Irina was shot and taken to Ariel for intense medical treatment and rehabilitation. Irina was charged and imprisoned for gross negligence leading to death of her team. She was cleared of any wrongdoing and released.

Irina applied for an honourable discharge after a full investigation of the Ezra incident was concluded. She taken the role of bounty hunter and tracker to find the Commander and his two subordinates. Last known location is Greenleaf Skyplex.

Taken the cover id of Alex Jensen after the prirate attack on Greenleaf Skyplex provided the ideal opportunity to kill off Irina Petrova without any data trail.

Background
Spending his life being bounced around from foster home to foster home and not getting adopted made life pretty rough. As such whatever chances he stood at becoming an engineer or a politician diminished with each move as it impacted his education. He doesn't know who his family is, nor did the orphanage where he was left. They don't have any names - his own name was given to him by the orphanage for lack of any information.

The biggest impact on his life was working for a golf course as a teenager where he learned how to repair and drive golf carts. He discovered very quickly that he had a passion for it and worked there for a number of years, saving up so one day he might be able to create his own business.

He’s pretty smart when it comes to numbers and understands the basics of running a business and some of the complexities. He’s quite independent and very modest, mostly about the fact that he owns his transportation service – people generally think he’s just the driver and that there’s some bigwig pulling the strings. Those who know he’s the owner generally came to find that out under the impression that he’s happy doing what he does and doesn’t want people to have the perception that he’s some sort of big shot.

Personality: When behind closed doors Denika is introspective and insecure. Doubting that this move to going out on her own from being a companion was a good idea. In front of her employees, she comes off as strong and sometimes callous. She's patient and ever on a quest for information. Information keeps you safe is her personal mantra. From her time with her guardian Detective Corchran she developed a strong sense of Natural Justice, and isn't afraid to enact some of her own.

Personal History

The beginnings of her life were quite... well quite ordinary in her little town on Dyton. Her mother died in the back-alley behind a local bar giving birth. Her first hour of existence was filled with abandoned. Then an aging Copper, Detective Mickey Corchran, found her.

He took her in, and his wife and small family raised her. Giving her the name Denika after one of their last born child that had passed away, she grew up in a loving home. Denika was ever much the tom-boy and would often sneak out of the house to hang with "Dad" as he walked his beat. She was inquisitive and a keen mind, and Detective Corchran liked having her along.

She learned a lot, then at the age of 11, Detective Mickey Corchran and his wife were murdered in the night, leaving all the children orphans. Mark and Seamus agreed that it would be best if they sent Denika off to become a companion. If any of them had a chance at becoming something, it was her.
They said their tear filled goodbyes. Lord knew when they would see her again. And Denika's journey to become a companion began. She was precocious, and often outspoken and took her a while to pass her exams. But soon became a low-level companion for a few years.
Something happened to her on one of her sessions, that left her deeply scared on her left arm. She won't tell anyone, what happened but it solidified her decision to leave the order. She had been sending her brothers money, and when one of her regulars heard that she would no longer be a companion., Gave her a rather large sum of money.

Devoted to the memory of his Uncle Max, who raised him and made him the man he is today.  He is a quiet, practical man, generally keeping to himself, with an almost supernatural intuition and understanding regarding machines and systems.  He has a fondness for good cigars and fine whiskey, and enjoys an occasional game of chance.  He is a veritable rock of Gibraltar in tense or high pressure situations, and things just seem to always go smooth for him.  Highgly perceptive and self-disciplined, he is loyal to his friends and tends to be a straight shooter; he expects the same from others, and he believes that you never leave a man behind.  As with many naval personnel, he tends to be superstitious. Jim has a very low tolerance threshold for incompetence.

Personal History
Jim was born on Beylix to a couple who gave him to a home for boys shortly after birth.  As he grew up, the staff noticed Jim had a way with machines, which included times when he was even found talking to them.  At age seven, the home had a practice of “adopting out” its children to work with families primarily engaged in the business of reclamation and salvage, much like apprentices, especially when those children were classified as incorrigible.  It was in fact a form of legalized slavery which stayed under the Alliance radar, and the home asked few questions of adopting parents.  In Jim’s case, they were especially glad to see him go and take his unnerving habits with him.  This was how Jim came under the supervision and care of Uncle Max.

For the remaining years of his youth, Jim was under the supervision of “Uncle” Max Duncan, a gruff but fair-minded salvage supervisor for United Reclamaition.  He made sure that Jim had the basics of an academic education: reading, writing, mathematics and basic Cortex use.  But he emphasized engineering and repair from the aspect of salvage.  Thus the young Jim learned to evaluate materials of all sorts to separate trash from what might be useful or valuable.  Uncle Max soon became aware of the rare blessing that Jim possessed in his ability to empathize with machines.  He encouraged the use of this gift and helped Jim learn how to make repairs and make use of various materials and objects to accomplish a goal.  It was a skill that would one day save Jim’s life and elevate him to prominence.

When the Unification War clouds began to form on the horizon, Jim decided to enlist in the fledgling Independent Navy, to support the rights of the Rim to self-government and freedom.  Despite his lack of formal education, Jim showed his metal and soon found himself promoted to Petty Officer aboard the INV Jacobite, one of the Independent Navy’s better warships.  During the Battle of Sturges, his ship was destroyed in combat along with countless others on both sides.  It was then that Jim displayed the true value of his upbringing on Beylix.

Using parts from salvaged systems and components aboard his wrecked ship, Jim managed to jury-rig an improvised lifepod and subsequently rescued 43 stranded individuals from both sides.  Without his actions, 43 naval personnel would have died in their vacc suits or in isolated, pressurized environments.  The lifepod was subsequently recovered by an Independent tender before leaving the horrific wreckage of the battlefield behind.  For his gallant actions, Jim was promoted to CW2 and awarded the Navy Cross, the highest decoration offered by the Independents during the Unification War.  The Navy needed a hero to bolster failing morale, and now they had one.

Jim finished the U War at the naval station on Persephone.  Afterwards, he returned home to Beylix and worked for United Reclamation with Uncle Max until his uncle’s death.  He continued for a few months working his uncle’s salvage boat, but having tasted life in the Black, he then decided to seek his fortune among the stars.  He requested and received a leave of absence from United Reclamation, packed his bags and threw a dart at a wall map to determine his destination.  Thus he headed out for the moon of Akers Bluff.

During the next few years, Jim served as Engineer on an Ox Class transport, the Milles Bournes, ran a repair shop on Akers Bluff, served as engineer on several other merchant vessels, and finally wound up on the planet of St. Michael.  Here he soon found himself in the role of Dockmaster, which allowed him to organize and improve services, and augment security for the space port.  But the responsibility of such an office, though taken quite seriously, was more than Jim wanted.  He acquired a small Wren Class merchant ship, a one man fixer-upper ship which carried one standard 40 ton cargo pod, and he worked on it to get it into space-worthy condition.  He then resigned his position as Dockmaster and began working as a small-time freight operator.  It was after several months of this life that he saw and answered the Cortex advertisement for a maintenance man on the Greenleaf Skyplex and decided to apply.

Background:
Riley graduated from Medical school when she at 25, much to her father’s pleasure. She then spent the next 5 years working with Dr.  Victor Whitcomb, on Ariel, until the days she mistakeningly treated the wrong person. A gambler, by the name Aristotle Ford, who, unbeknownst to the rest of the family, Riley’s brother Michael was in debt too. It amounted to a serious amount of coin. Ford, deciding that he would clear Michael/s debt, by taking Riley in payment.

Upon hearing that her brother was actually willing, more than willing, to “sell” her as payment, Riley attempted to leave Ariel. Except things didn’t go smooth as she had planned…. Michael tried to stop her, he even notified Ford of her plans.

Things went terribly wrong when Michael tried to stop her from leaving her house. He had waved Ford, who showed up before she could get out. Everything happened so fast, Michael got hurt in the fight that ensued...Aristotle and Gordon shot at each other. One sustaining only an injury, while the other, Riley's father was killed.

Riley was able to slip out and make it in time to the ship she had booked passage on. First she went somewhere where it was big and crowed, Persephone. She was able to blend in, and from there she hitched rides from rock to rock, trying to make herself lost. Even her account was nearly depleted.... This meant she was going to have to settle somewhere and find some work… what better place than a huge skyplex to blend in, under an alias of course…

Personality:
Riley is quite a down to earth type gal. What some would consider to be the “girl next door”, even though she came from a wealthy family. She has a graceful mien. Tending to look for the best in every person, but once you break her trust it takes forever to earn it back. She can be goofy, and a bit of a flirt. Even with what she has been through, she can still be quite gullible and naïve. On occasion, Riley can be too trusting. But she doesn’t like to be manipulated.

Voted by Cargo Ships Monthly as the friendliest station docking operator in the system, 28 year old Tanya is primary dispatcher for one of the four shifts that handle arrivals and departures in the space around the Skyplex, demonstrating calm and cool logic, as well as a strong knowledge of ship types.

A very chatty woman, although arguably a bit of a nerd, she can be found off-duty playing chess or backgammon. Occasionally, she'll go for poker.
