Re: How do you see the Alliance?

Thanks. It would also be awesome if you could get the flu out of your system that way.

Re: How do you see the Alliance?

I think the biological reconstruction process might be taxed a little too much in trying to not include the flu. :-\

Re: How do you see the Alliance?

Well, you could keep yourself intact and beam just the flu out of you? "Mister Data, 15,000,000 micro-organisms to beam sideways..."

Re: How do you see the Alliance?

I think it would be equally taxing that way also. But it would be exciting technology considering the number of diseases that have no cure that could effectively be cured in such a way (if the technology could be made possible of course).

You could do it as long as you kept a copy of the last transportation data of every person (a digitized clone as it were). You'd only need to 'renew' the brains when you transport someone. Since the flu virus normally doesn't reach the brain, you could then filter the virus out fairly easily.

Re: How do you see the Alliance?

But it would be more *fun* to just drop a load of flu sidewards into a vat of something to kill them big_smile

Re: How do you see the Alliance?

Could you use flu like this as a non-lethal biological weapon? Beam it into your enemies then retreat to a safe distance until they're all aching and in bed?
