Re: Post banner request
I just want to say that I LOVE the Radioactive Banner!
I had to post it here for the benefit of all because it's SO awesome!

As Kit posted in the Radioactive OC thread - shouldn't Radioactive be in the "Post-Apocalyptic Sims" group not the "Others" group?
Thanks, although I just put it together from images collected around the 'net. The two characters are from the cover of Phillipa Ballantine's book "Harbinger". Her book "Spectyr" is where I nabbed the other picture I posted in the sim proposal, and is the character I'll be playing in the sim (besides the NPCs).
The Seattle cityscape is from the show "Life After People", and is an artist's interpretation of what Seattle would look like years after people were gone (the forest that was cleared to make room reclaims the city, and is about the only natural phenomena that could topple the Space Needle).
The mushroom cloud was plucked out of various pictures of mushroom clouds (not sure if it's real or digitally done), and I found the sign when I was searching for the font used on radioactive signs.
I applied some layering, erasing, blending and color adjustments to bring it all together.

Quite possibly, although it's more of a Superhero sim that just happens to be set in a post-apocalyptic setting. What I mean is, I think we'll be focusing more on the super hero aspect, less on the post-apocalpyse aspect. So I kind of consider it more of a supers sim. We could, however, have a supers category and put Radioactive and the Dark Cometh in there.

Yeah... I've been rolling over in my mind a superhero sim once my current sim gets traction. Seems games here don't need as much crunch considerations, considering the fact that most games here are free-form.

It could equally be a more appropriate place for The Matrix as well, considering it's more "Super" and less "Post-Apocalyptic" (there's the duality of the two worlds, one which is essentially super-esq and the other which is clearly post-apocalyptic but I think the former is more central to the story).

Hmm, should we make a "Super" type of category then? With those 3 sims?
I suppose it's inevitable that some sims are going to fall into more than one category. I suggested there was potential for a 'superhero' category some time back, when both The Dark Cometh and Radioactive were proposals, as I believe was Read or Die at the time.
It might be that we should consider redoing the way we present our sims on the main page such that they can appear in multiple categories without it being cumbersome (i.e. the picture and description and such could be a window that appears when the mouse hovers over the sim name). We've been pretty happy with the way things have been to date but maybe in recognizing this it might do to switch up the way everything is presented?

Ah yes, that one. That is a consideration for my second sim once I get MI rolling.

Well when you do, I'm in
Can we Use this as a temporary Banner for Evil League of Evil VS. Hammer of Justice Squad?
Oh very yes. Any excuse to put Captain Hammer on the front page.
Instead of Superhero, why not Super Powered? That way it covers combo sims and sims where individuals might not be heroes and living every day lives as well?
Euan would you be so kind as to put this up for us. Many thanks.
Euan could we have this put on the Supernatural Page. Please and Thank you!
