Topic: Star Trek's 50th Anniversary Ongoing Worlds Article

I received the following from Charles Starr:

I'm going to write an article for the Ongoing Worlds Blog in honor of Star Trek's upcoming 50th Anniversary (first episode aired Sept 8, 1966).  Well actually, I'd like *you* to help write it. Basically, I want some leaders (again, you) from the Star Trek role playing community (and beyond) to talk a little bit about their favorite episodes.  Basically, if you want to participate, answer the questions below and reply before September 1st.  No offense taken if you don't want to play!

1) Name (whatever you go by in the simming world, not necessarily your real name)
2) Fleet/Club (or sim if independent)
3) Favorite Episode (from any series; don't pick more than 1 episode)
4) Brief Synopsis (no spoilers; 1-3 sentences)
5) Why do you like it so much, what has it meant to you, and has your perspective changed over time (<250 words, feel free to not answer these questions directly if that works best for your narrative--write what you want!  The basic question is just, why?)
6) Rank the tv shows from best to worst (TOS, TNG, DSN, VOY, ENT)
7) Rank the moves from best to worst (TMP, TWOK, TSFS, TVH, TFF, TUC, G, FC, I, N, ST (Abrams), ID, B)

I can think of no better way to honor Trek than for us to tell what our favorite episodes are and what they've meant to us.  Hope to hear back from a few of you!  If you don't want to do this, but know someone else who might, feel free to forward this along!

If you'd like to participate, please post in this thread and I'll hook you up with his email!
