I concur with Euan and the Ant Man. It is up to the players and their GM(s) to be active and make sims viable through active play and posting. I am a broken record on this issue, so I apologize to y'all for repeating myself.
If we can have an active sim or two where the players and GMs commit to regularly post, then the site will survive through this troubling time. We have Ironette wanting to run a Star Stars sim, and she has three players committed to actively post. I presume Ironette is going to GM the sim? If Ironette is still game, then if we can get someone in admin to set up the sim site for us, we can have an active game going. It is active play that attracts gamers, not the site we use, and a sure fire way to kill a sim is for the players and/or the GM to go inactive. I committed to Kevin to post at least once every three days in his Star Wars sim, and I have done so, though the posts for the last two months have simply been posts saying I'm here and ready. Just avoiding AWOL while awaiting the GM to respond to the posts by myself and SilverRush.
If Ironette is still willing to run her game, she has three players wanting to play. This is a good starting point. So, if we can get admin to set up the sim for us we can become an active sim for Phoenix. Set it up and let us run with it. Action attracts players. Inaction bleeds players away from Phoenix and we stagnate.
Just my two cents worth, my friends. The key is commitment to play and an active GM and players. I'm willing to give it a go if y'all are. What say you?
