Topic: Posting a Picture within a post.
Hi all,
I have used this posting system for awhile now so in case you are wondering how to post a picture within the post, here is what you do.
You will need:
1) a picture file, JPG or PNG or GIFF will all work. Try to keep the size of the picture fairly small. For a handy reference all icons should be 60 pixels wide x 60 pixels tall, for a long banner no bigger than 500 pixels wide x 300 pixels tall and for larger pictures 250 x 250 square is always a nice size.
2) A picture hosting site. I use tinypic.com. It's free, easy to sign up, and pretty straight forward to use. You can always just do a google search for images and link from the website where you found them, but that's a little rude.
Step 1: Find your pictures and trim it so it doesn't stretch the board. I use GIMP, a free program, but you can use Paint which comes on most Windows based computers. For icons, like my own Dr. River Song icon that is next to my name, those should be 60 x 60. For banners, the largest you want is 500 wide x 300 tall (or (2) 250 x 250 s also looks nice). Crop or resize the images and then save them as a copy.
Step 2: Upload to a picture site like tinypic.com or your own private website
Step 3: Find the web address for the raw image. It should look something like typical web address with
no .com or .html but a .jpg or .png which is a picture file type.
Step 4: To insert an image the code is

So example of the code for my Wen Li Banner it would like like this:

In order to look like this:
Hope this helps. Cheers!
